I was thinking about getting a plumeria type flower. Do you think that would look good or should I get a different type of flower? If so what kind?
I also am not sure where to get it, I kind of want it on my shoulder or ankle but I’m not sure. Where do you think I should get it?
I know some people don’t like them, and you are entitled to your opinon but I don’t really care (even though that sounds mean) I have to make my own choice and live with it, so let me!
Anyways, I would really like to know what you all think about the placement, the flower selection, and what combo I should use…..
Thanks in advance!

My first tattoo was a butterfly on a daisy-type flower. It is on the back of my left shoulder. I love it & get lots of compliments on it. (Some people say this type of tattoo is cliche, but it has a special meaning to me in rememberance of my grandma. Some people are always going to have something judgemental to say, no matter what you get.)
My second tattoo is on my lower back….dainty tribal-like lines with two flowers on it that match the one on my shoulder. (Don’t listen to those stupid stereotype “tramp stamp” comments either.)
Go to a tattoo parlor & look at all of the flash. Then if you want, you can have the artist enhance it to suit you!

Many girls get tattoos in the middle of their back. Then they can wear a strapless or spaghetti straps to a formal affair. If you have it on your ankle, you’ll need to wear slacks to an interview… and many companies frown on slacks in an interview.
A friend has a butterfly on her back right at her waist line. It looks cute in a swim suit. Another has a little gecko on her shoulder. Another has an angel on her outside thigh, about six inches above her knee.

I have six tattoos myself, and love them. The key to having a tattoo you love is to make sure you know what you want and where you want it before you get one. If you just get one because you want one, but don;t have something specific in mind, you will almost certainly regret it. Take the time and get one that has a lot of meaning to you and that you can cherish forever. Good luck!

I would suggest not getting your name, unless its your last name and your a guy and it is gonna be across the upper part of your back. The flower sounds pretty, you might want to check and see what flower represents the month you or someone you really love were born and get that, at any rate you should get something that has a meaning. What about on the hip-bone area. Hope this helps.

If you really didn’t care what people thought, you wouldn’t be constantly asking for strangers approval of your tattoo ideas.
Seriously, if you want to get a plumeria on your ankle/shoulder, get it. It should be something that YOU think of. It’s your body. Think about it: if you really want it on your ankle and everyone on here says “NO! get a rose on your shoulder!!” do you think you’d be happy with that tattoo?
Until you know for sure where you want it and what it’s of, don’t get a tattoo. It’s never a good idea quickly pick something that’s going to be permanently placed on your body.
So if you want a plumeria, get it. If you want it on your ankle, get it there. If you want it on your shoulder, get it there. Or get it both places because it’s YOUR body and you get to choose!

  6. Smurfett Says:

If you know of someone that can do a little art, have them sketch it on your shoulder and then again on your ankle with Sharpies. It will give you an idea of what you like and how it will look. Be creative and design something. You don’t have to pick from a book and they can combine pieces if you see some you like in a shop. Oh, and yes, it does hurt…The ankle will probably hurt more.

I’d go check out a few tattoo places and have some artists draw something up for you. If someone does one you like, go ahead and get it.

i just got my first tattoo a week ago. i suggest you do something personal so you don’t regret it when you’re older. even though you dont think you will regret it now, you probably will. do something really meaningful. i got my tattoo on the inner side of my left ankle. its a great place to have it… mine is really small though….

    mix it all together
i think foot tattoos of flowers are cute..but the shoulder and ankle i think are the two worst spots for tats..shoulders cuz when you have to dress up it always looks tacky with a big tat on your shoulder..and ankles i guess i just dont like the look of em
before you decide on getting tat visit some tattoo shops and look thru their work books n stuff to see if you see anything like what you want it will help you decide if that is what you want

If you plan on having sex with lots of strange men, then get a tattoo of a target right on your tailbone. That gives us a bullseye to aim at. Thanks.

Hi, I have 6 tattoos myself and i love all 6. If your not sure about what you really what i would go to a tattoo shop and tell the artist what you think you want and he will drawn something for you and then he will call you and let you decide if it’s what you like or if you would like some changes or to start over again. Be picky get WANT YOU LIKE it’s your body that is getting tattoo and it’s there for life. You decide and make up your mind.Have the artist help with where you want the tattoo to go and where it will look the best. Welcome To The World Of Tattoos. You won’t be able to STOP at one. You will know what i mean after you get your first one. Lol

Tattoos used to be a form a self expression, but now everyone and the mother has that tattoo

  13. rua_88 Says:

Get what you want not whta everyone else says.. it is your body and will be there forever… so 1st figure out what you want the flower wil be fine.. figure out how big it is going to be and you can then figure out a spot to put it … ankle small tattoos look good unless you have a sleeve… if it is going to be on the big side then shoulder
    hope that helps
